Query Letters

I sent out the first round of Query letters for my WIP today. I am steeling myself for another rite of passage of any wannabe novelist: rejection.

Today I am a Novelist

I have been a writer for a long time. I have written short stories, plays and assorted essays almost since I could write. But today, I am a novelist.

I just finished my 84,000 WIP.
Finished.
It.

I have been revising it as I go, and I still have a number of revisions to work through before it will be ready to send out on submission.

Even if this ends up being my drawer novel, for today, I have accompished something.
