Surprise Endings

I am just about finished with my latest WIP. There is a surprise ending! Well, it probably won't be a surprise to the readers, but it was a surprise to me. Weird how that happens. I outline the plot and think I know exactly where a book is going and then the characters do things that I don't expect. So cool!

Most of the time. Sometimes they do stuff that is just odd. Or boring. Or well, a whole other story. But I guess that's why there's sequels...
